Gone regional
I've recently gone regional. West Malaysia, to be exact. Because of this post.
Heh.
It gave me a strange sense of satisfaction. Totally unlike that when I discover I have new readers.
Anyway, I hope what I've wrote there and my replies to your e-mails have been of help, CM. Pass exams must tell me, ok?
Still 35 days to go.

Dear Acey,
It's going to be a long way from clearing the CTs...
Just saw your mail. Yes, you have been of great help. When you clear the last two papers, I am sure you'll be a great counseller for future actuaries.
Hehe...here's to hoping you keep your blog alive.
:))

Counseller? Don't make me blush lah, CM.
Our line of work is very small, so all the more I feel we need to give each other support along the way to "nirvana".
Heh, you're the second reader to ask me to keep my blog alive. The other being Chronicles of Chaos.
I don't think I will be able to spend good time writing as I do now once I get back home. And being a person who hates satisficing (keyword), I would rather stop blogging altogether.
Although I will definitely feel the withdrawal effects initially.
Your blog entries are extensive currently and some being quite insightful. I think it would be a shame if you shut it down.
To keep it alive, when you start working, you could scale down the depth and number of entries. 3/4 entries per week with slightly longer weekend entries could keep your blog alive.
In any case, I suggest you archive and burn a copy of your blog on a CD-R, if you ever decide to shut it down. I am sure it will bring a smile to you sometime in the far future, when you look back at your time in Australia.

PS - Satisficing??? Hmm... that's a new word for me.
Like I said, no satisficing. I like the feeling of blogging everyday. It is all or nothing for me. Since I know I can't keep it up, I will just stop altogether.
By shutting down, I don't mean I will delete it off leh. I will just leave it here as it is.
Saving the entries up did cross my mind. But it feels "unright" at the moment. I'll decide on this later.
Satisficing was a word I heard quite a lot of in my university years. Maybe it is used only in Singapore universities. *Grin*
